Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome back to a new school year - 2015-2016!
I am excited for this year to begin and wanted to let you know a little about myself. I have been teaching for a total of 24 years, with the past nine years here in Kentucky. My family and I moved to Kentucky in November 2006 and I enjoy working with such wonderful educators and students here in Bullitt County.
Since 2004, I have earned:
*Two Masters Degrees (Reading Education from UWG and Library Media from WKU)
*Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S. in Elementary Education from WKU)
*Certifications...Educational Administration/Leadership from Georgia & Kentucky, Reading Endorsement, Teacher Support Specialist, Instructional Technology Specialist, and Gifted Education.
My future goal is to complete my Ed.D. (Educational Doctorate) in Secondary Education and pursue a new career (after retirement) in higher education teaching "future teachers".
One of my goals in working with students is to share my love of learning and instill in them a passion to continue learning no matter where their lives take them in the future: college or career.
I look forward to working with your child this school year. Please email me with any questions or concerns and I will get back to you within 24 hours. (Email link is at the top of the web page)
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kristi Hayes, Ed.S.
